Thanks for this video!! I just went though the process of making my own panels. I used Rockwool Safe n Sound and the dimensions were 48”x17”x3”. So a little thicker but smaller panels than the ones here. After I made 6 of them, I came to the same conclusion that it wasn’t worth my time and that there really wasn’t any money saved. They were a lot of fun to make, and I learned some new things, but with being a dad, church volunteer, and working full time.. yeah, not worth the time investment.

Very interesting! We have ATS in our current room but we were going to diy panels for cost savings in the new room. Hmmm 🤔

What if you want to use condenser mics for live stream for house sound. Buy your sound board does not separate live stream. Only set up to send what's coming through the soundboard to livestream. Can you still use ambient mikes for house sound without feedback

Yamaha has a gap between DM3 'n' DM7 Compact. DM3 has limitations; CHs count faders layers. TF3 should be replaced by a DM5 🎛🇯🇵

i just don't hear a $300 difference...i guess it would depend on how it's eq'd in the mix...the SM58 sounds pretty solid (especially for the money), and is built like a tank...there's a reason it's a staple for a lot of singers live...

When i see the word hate and x32 together i think of routing right away. To this day, after 3 years of eat and sleep with that board, routing still bonk my head.
